Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the "Kyorimemo" app (iOS and Android, the "App") provided by UNVELL Inc. ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "User" refers to any individual who uses the App.
  • "Pro Plan" refers to the App's paid subscription service.

3. Service Description

The App is a tool for recording and managing vehicle mileage (odometer readings). We may modify, add, or remove features of the App at any time without prior notice.

4. Subscriptions

  1. The Pro Plan is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through in-app purchases on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Subscription pricing is as displayed on the respective store's product page.
  3. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  4. Your store account will be charged upon purchase confirmation.
  5. You can manage or cancel your subscription from: iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, or Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  6. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble the App
  • Illegally copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Infringe on the rights of us or any third party
  • Place excessive load on the App's servers or network

6. Disclaimer

  1. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the App's content.
  2. We are not responsible for the loss or corruption of data recorded in the App. Please back up important data using the CSV export feature.
  3. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  4. The App is a tool to assist with mileage tracking and is not a substitute for legal documents or official records.

7. Data Handling

Data entered in the App is stored on your device. On iOS, if iCloud sync is enabled, data is also stored in your iCloud account and synced across devices. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App belong to us. Users may not use our intellectual property beyond the scope expressly permitted by these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as needed. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or website.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sapporo District Court as the court of first instance.
